‘Congress sent scientists to jail as conspiracy’

Jaipur: BJP State President CP Joshi on Sunday reacted to CM Ashok Gehlot remarks alleging that scientists were sent to jail by hatching conspiracies by the Congress government whereas the scientific community prospered under PM Modi’s rule.

“Many PMs have come and gone but for the first time, under Modi’s rule, resources, facilities have been given to scientists and India has become the first country to land on the South pole of the Moon,” Joshi told reporters here.

“Under Congress rule, scientists were sent to jail through conspiracy and got no facilities,” Joshi said. “These days Gehlot is afraid of the red diary and of losing the election as such he is making such statements,” Joshi charged on Sunday.
