Congress Org polls: In a major development, party removes Nirupam as election in-charge

Jaipur: In what could be termed as a major development in Congress, the party’s Organisation election in-charge Sanjay Nirupam was removed from the post of organisation election in-charge even before the conclusion of the organisation elections in Congress. With the surprising change, discussions have erupted across the party’s various groups as to why Nirupam has been removed? In view of ongoing tussle between Gehlot & Pilot factions, this change is definitely giving a new message. Sanjay Nirupam is considered very close to Rahul Gandhi & despite this, he has been removed which has resulted in discussion in Congress. The list of 400 state Congress members has come to State HQs from party’s Central Election Authority. Whereas on September 17, a meeting of 400 newly appointed members of the State Congress Committee is to be held at the State Congress Headquarters at 11:00 am. On Thursday, on behalf of state Cong HQs, information was given to newly appointed state Cong members of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Dungarpur, Ganganagar, etc. & they have been instructed to reach Jaipur. On Friday, information was sent to members from districts like Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk and Karauli.
