Congress brainstorms to regain lost Assembly seats in last polls

Jaipur: A two-day brainstorming session of the Congress party started on Sunday where in leaders will discuss about the 52 seats and places where the party lost in the last two or more elections. Congress Screening Committee Chairman Gaurav Gogoi brainstormed in the Congress war room and took a feedback regarding this on Sunday.

KC Venugopal held a meeting of the Congress Core Committee. Sukhjinder Randhawa, GS Dotasra also accompanied him. Dr CP Joshi, Qazi Nizamuddin and Sachin Pilot were also present in the session.

In the meeting, screening committee members Abhishek Dutt and Ganesh Godiyal were present. The committee is brainstorming on 52 seats where party has consecutively lost. The panel also had a discussion with 52 Block Prezs of 26 assemblies. A meet with Block Presidents of remaining 26 seats will be held today, & a feedback from Block Prezs of Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Dholpur, etc will be taken. Gogoi will also meet sitting MLAs of assembly seats and defeated candidates too.

Sunil Kanugolu had special presence in meet as he was the architect of Congress’ victory in Karnataka Assembly polls.
