‘CONG TOOK MONEY FROM 40% CANDIDATES IN RAS INTERVIEW’

Jaipur: After raising the REET paper leak issue, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena on Tuesday demanded a CBI inquiry in the RAS 2018 examination while alleging corruption on a large scale in the conduct of the exam.

Meena said he will register a complaint with the SOG on Wednesday. “Congress leaders took money and got nearly 40 percent of the candidates passed in the interview. CBI inquiry should be ordered in the matter,” he said.

He alleged that the top 200 candidates in the RAS recruitment examination have been selected from 7 institute centres in Jaipur whereas 70 people got selected in RAS from Kalam Institute alone.

At the same time, 70,000 copies of the year 2018 were examined in just 17 days. Meena also made allegations against Shiv Singh Rathore, who was the acting chairman of RPSC, alleging he gave 80 marks to Gaurav Poonia, a relative of Govind Singh Dotasra. Targeting professor Shivdayal Singh Shekhawat, Meena said he was caught by ACB taking cash. He said that Shekhawat committed irregularities in 2014 Pre PMT exam.
