Cong to protest against Assam govt
Jaipur: Congress will hold ‘Silent Satyagraha’ at the district headquarters in Rajasthan on Tuesday against creating disruption in Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in Assam.
A party spokesperson said that attempts have been made by the BJP, especially the government of Assam, to stop the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra being taken out under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
“BJP workers are creating disruption by attacking the Yatra. Against this, all the District Congress Committees will protest by organizing “Silent Satyagraha” from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm in front of the statue or portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at all the district headquarters on Tuesday,” he said.
