Cong rules out alliance for bypolls so far

Jaipur: A meeting of the Rajasthan Coordination Committee was held at the PCC War Room in Jaipur under the chairmanship of AICC incharge for Rajasthan, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, to review preparations for the upcoming by-elections in 7 assembly constituencies scheduled on November 13. The meeting was attended by PCC Chief Govind Dotasra, LoP Tikaram Jully, former CM Ashok Gehlot, AICC General Secy Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, former Assembly Speaker CP Joshi, and other senior leaders.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Dotasra said that the Congress party is fully prepared to contest in all 7 constituencies and is confident that its candidates will win in all seats. He said that The final decision on any alliance for the byelections will be made by the party high command. He added that a comprehensive strategy for the elections in all 7 constituencies was discussed during the meeting.

AICC in-charge Sukhjinder Randhawa said that Congress candidates would emerge victorious in all 7 seats in upcoming by-elections. He said that a detailed discussion on all 7 constituencies took place during the meeting and a comprehensive strategy has been prepared to ensure Congress’ victory in the elections. Dotasra also held a meeting with the office bearers of the Rajasthan Pradesh Youth Congress and Congress Seva Dal at the RPCC War Room and directed the leaders and workers of these organisations to actively participate in the promotion of candidates.
