Cong Org Polls: Nirupam approves 400 members’ list

Jaipur: The organisational elections in Congress are in their final stages. On July 30, PRO Sanjay Nirupam was scheduled to reach Jaipur and chair a meeting of DROs of all the districts in PCC. The list of PCC members and block presidents was to be released in first week of August, post this meeting. However, now a new plan for Nirupam’s visit will be drawn and the meeting will be held at an opportune time.

The organisation polls in Raj Congress were delayed due to RS & Presidential polls & protests against the ED. Now, the names of 400 PCC members have been stamped and the list will be released soon. The names of the members of State Congress Committee were approved by the Raj Returning Officer Sanjay Nirupam after election authority’s permit. The names were cleared by Sonia Gandhi after discussions CM Ashok Gehlot, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Sachin Pilot and Dr CP Joshi, PRO Sanjay Nirupam gave the final shape to the list.
