Cong lacks public support in protests against ED summons

Jaipur: The Congress has not got the support from the public on the issue of ED questioning Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Congress’s think tank has collected confidential information about this and sent it to Delhi. Congress workers had full participation in the movement but it did not get the public support.

The leaders feel that the party could have got more support on the issues of unemployment, GST on food items, and Agnipath scheme. It is noteworthy that Congress made the ED proceedings against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi an issue and demonstrated in many cities including Delhi to Jaipur. During the interrogation of Rahul Gandhi, the Raj Congress alone carried out agitations at the district-block and state level for about a week.
