Committed for upliftment of Nari Shakti: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Saturday that without the contribution of half of the population, the country and the State cannot become strong, therefore the State government is working with commitment for the upliftment and all-round development of Nari Shakti. The Chief Minister said that for women empowerment, it is necessary for women to get equal rights and opportunities.

The CM was addressing the felicitation and gratitude ceremony by Nari Shakti on Saturday at the Chief Minister’s Residence on increasing the reservation of women to 50 per cent in the grade third teacher recruitment in the state. During this, a large number of women who came presented a bouquet to the CM and expressed their gratitude.

CM Sharma said that women empowerment is not limited to economic independence but it also talks about providing equal opportunities to women in social, educational and political fields because if women are empowered, they will contribute significantly in the development of the family and society.
