Commitment to ‘greening’ Raj & wildlife conservation

Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary of Forest Department, Aparna Arora said that department is working determinedly to make the state green along with wildlife conservation.

She said that there is a need to make the general public aware about wildlife conservation and plantation through various schemes of the Forest Department so that the resolution of making the state a green state can be realized.

Chairing a state level meeting, the ACS reviewed progress of various schemes and issued necessary directions. She praised the work being done at the district level and said that the officers should work with full determination for wildlife and forest conservation.

Instructing the officials to stop illegal mining and illegal encroachment, she said that in coordination with the local administration and other concerned departments, it should be ensured that illegal mining and encroachment is stopped.
