Commercial Tax Dept scores 100% in BRAP implementation

Jaipur: The Commercial Tax Department has created history after scoring 100% in the Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP) by taking steps to make business easy. The state government took initiative on ‘Ease of doing business’. The dept had proposed 11 steps and worked on them.

Seventeen departments were reviewed on Tuesday. Apart from the Commercial Tax Department, the state’s factories and boilers, Labour, Cooperative, Legal Metrology, BIP, Commerce and Industry and RIICO, State Excise, PHED, LSG, Energy, Law, Medical & Health, IGRS, RPCB, Revenue, UDH and Water Resources were included.

The Factory and Boilers department was in second place. 29 out of 31 reforms in factories and boilers have been successfully implemented.
