‘Collab, innovation to propel India’s global leadership’

Jaipur: The two-day Textile Sourcing Meet 2024 at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) was inaugurated by Chief Guest KK Vishnoi, Minister of State, and Guest of Honour Pawan Arora, CEO and Managing Editor of First India News, on Monday.

KK Vishnoi praised the event for uniting participants from across India, describing it as “a vision that speaks to the common man.”

He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal for a developed India by 2047 and expressed pride in the new generation’s creativity, particularly their efforts to turn waste into products. He also acknowledged the pivotal role of women in the industry, encouraging them to continue contributing through self-help groups.

Addressing the gathering, Pawan Arora emphasized significance of bringing buyers & sellers together under one roof, noting how they support each other in their endeavours. He highlighted that their united efforts not only foster personal growth but also contribute to nation’s progress, reflecting a strong sense of unity. Arora, who has a personal connection with the entrepreneurs of textile industry, spoke passionately about industry’s importance to him, stressing need for technological innovation to make India a global leader in the sector.
