Coal crisis in Raj: RK Sharma visits C’garh

Jaipur: Rajasthan seems to be staring at the coal crisis. Most of the big power houses in the state have only about five days of coal left with them. There is a problem of mining and railway transportation from PEKB mine in Chhattisgarh.

According to the figures of Rajasthan Electricity Generation Corporation, Kota thermal is left with coal for three days. This has raised the concern of energy department officials. RVUNL CMD RK Sharma reached Chhattisgarh to talk to officials to resolve problems in coal supply.
