CM’S NOD TO GIVE SCOOTIES TO 30K MERITORIOUS GIRL STUDENTS IN RAJ

Jaipur: The State government is taking important decisions to empower girl students and encourage them to pursue higher education. Now scooties will be distributed to 30,000 meritorious girl students of the State. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to increase the number of scooters from 20,000 to 30,000.

In the Kalibai Bhil Girl Scooty Yojana and Devnarayan Scooty Yojana, meritorious girl students will now also get an option to take electric scooty. Female students can take the option while applying online. Under the scheme, if all the girl students apply for escooties, the State Government will spend Rs 390 crore.

It is noteworthy that in the Budget of the year 2023-24, the Chief Minister announced to increase the number of scooties to be given to meritorious girls from 20,000 to 30, 000.
