CMO gains strength with an ACS and 3 RAS officers

Jaipur: The Chief Minister’s Office is likely to gain strength and work in top gear with appointment of an Additional Chief Secretary and 3 RAS officers as Joint Secretaries and a Deputy Secretary.

IAS officer of 1993 batch Shikhar Agrawal was on Friday made Additional Chief Secretary to CMO. RAS officers Jaswant Singh and Vivek Kumar have been appointed Joint Secretaries to the CM, while Manoj Kumar has been made Deputy Secretary to the CM. The Personnel Department issued these appointment orders on Friday night. Till now, T Ravikant was temporarily handling the responsibility of Principal Secretary to the CM. The Department of Personnel, while releasing the transfer list of 10 RAS officers, also appointed special assistants to both the Deputy CMs and 5 ministers.
