CM to inaugurate Raj International Centre today

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate the Rajasthan International Centre built on the lines of India International Centre and India Habitat Centre in New Delhi today, where international level conferences and intellectual discussions will be held.

The foundation stone of Rajasthan International Centre was laid on April 19, 2013 during the previous tenure of Gehlot government. Its construction did not gain momentum during the BJP government, but work started again during the Gehlot’s rule.

The Centre has been constructed by JDA for Rs 140 crore on 7.44 hectares of land. It has double basement parking with a capacity of 240 vehicles. Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal will preside over the inaugural ceremony. The website and e-library of the Centre will also be launched.
