CM to inaugurate City Park developed by RHB on October 21

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate the City Park at Mansarovar, developed by the Rajasthan Housing Board, on 21 October. Board commissioner Pawan Arora said that the inaugural ceremony will be held at the Entrance Plaza of the park at the Madhyam Mark on Mansarovar. The function will be presided over by UDH Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal. Sanganer, MLA Ashok Lahoty will be the special guest. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, DGP ML Lather, Chief of UDH Department, UDH Secretary Kunjilal Meena and other senior officers will also be present in this programme. Rajasthan’s tallest national flag and grand steel structure of Madhya Marg Entry Plaza are major attractions The RHB Commissioner said that the CM and other guests would visit the park through golf carts before its inauguration. He informed that the first phase of this ambitious project has been completed. The domed steel structure of the grand entry plaza built on the Madhyam Marg in the first phase, the attractive fountain and the tallest (213 feet) national flag of Rajasthan and the picturesque Lower Lake with an area of about 2,000 square meters near it, are the main features of this park.

A total of 34 work orders worth Rs 61.31 crore were issued for the first phase of works, against which all these works have been completed with an amount of Rs 54.99 crore. The Housing Commissioner said that in the second phase, Fountain Square, V.T. Road, Aravalli Marg and New Sanganer Road at Entry Plaza, Botanical Garden, Exposition Ground, construction of food court on the lines of Jaipur Chaupati and works of Upper Lake in 2,500 square meter area are under construction. On whose completion, an amount of 58.54 crores is likely to be spent.
