CM to inaugurate 3-day Kisan Mahotsav today

Jaipur: The three-day Rajasthan Kisan Mahotsav will be organised from today at JECC, Sitapura. The fair will be inaugurated by CM Ashok Gehlot at 11 am. Secy of Agriculture & Horticulture Department Dr Prithvi informed that farmers will be made aware of the latest innovations. “Nearly 50,000 farmers will participate in this state-level farmers festival. On the first day, 20,000 farmers will take part while on the second and third day, 15,000 farmers will be present in the Mahotsav. On June 23 & 24, a divisionallevel farmers' festival would also be organised at Udaipur-based Krishi Mandi Balicha and from June 30 to July 1 at the Agricultural University, Mandore, Jodhpur,” added Dr Prithvi.
