CM stresses on performance, delivery to repeat govt in ’23
Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday gave a blunt message in the Chintan Shivir as he stressed on performance, delivery and taking the schemes to masses. Gehlot gave the instructions with a view to repeat the government. For this, Gehlot gave the task to all the ministers as the report card of the ministers is also coming out in the two-day Chitan Shivir.
In such a situation, political circles are abuzz with questions as to will there be cabinet reshuffle-expansion on the basis of performance or will there be a change in the faces of the cabinet after the budget? Interestingly, signs of cabinet reshuffle-expansion were observed from the meeting conducted on Tuesday.
The Cabinet has passed a resolution urging the Centre to make a law in Parliament to give social security to people in the country.
CM Gehlot said that the resolution passed in the cabinet meeting will be sent to the Central Government.
Responding to former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot’s remark that action should be taken against the “big sharks” behind paper leaks in Rajasthan, CM Gehlot on Tuesday said his government’s actions in those cases were aimed at the kingpins. He said the leader should point out names of “big sharks” and action would be taken them also. Gehlot was talking to the media after attending the second day of the Chintan Shivir organised at the Harish Chandra Mathur- Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration (HCM-RIPA) on Tuesday.
He said that the two days Chintan shivir was fruitful during which several suggestions came. On the performance of ministers, he said that the ministers are confident and have a grip over their departments. “They have the confidence to work. CM alone cannot work,” he said.
Gehlot said that the state government is working on priority for the upliftment of every section through transparent, accountable and responsive good governance.
He said that timely and effective implementation of all the schemes of the state government should be ensured so that the common man gets all the benefits. He directed the officers to take strict action against the personnel who are unnecessarily delaying in resolving the works related to the general public.
