CM should apologise for insulting Para Military Forces: Dr Poonia

Jaipur: After CM Ashok Gehlot’s remark accusing the opposition party of misusing paramilitary and police forces, BJP launched an all-out attack on the matter. BJP State President Dr Satish Poonia said,“It is beyond my comprehension how a leader can comment in such irresponsible, absurd and baseless manner. He has insulted the paramilitary force in this manner and should apologize. The force whose people carry out the internal and external security of this country, and comments are being made on them. Will the people of Para Military Force be transporting the cars of notes in this manner to the office? This comment denotes their menial mentality. Man makes such statements when he gets too distracted. It is also understandable why he is distracted. Congress is slowly disappearing from the map of the country. It is feared that the same situation will occur in Rajasthan also, and he will not be able to stop it. It is rightly said that from such statements, it is estimated as to how tense the man is, how disturbed he is. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot should apologise.”

Moreover, Dy LoP Rajendra Rathore also attacked Congress and said that the allegations of paramilitary forces escorting truck loads of money to BJP offices are baseless and without proof. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also fired salvos and said, “It is the same Congressman who keeps raising questions on the action of the army from surgical strikes many times. CM Gehlot should apologize immediately for his statement on the army.” Former state president Arun Chaturvedi has said that CM Ashok Gehlot should withdraw his remark. BJP RS MP Ghanshyam Tiwari said, “CM Gehlot’s remark created a sense of distrust in Para Military Forces. In a way, to demoralise Army is not a patriotic act. CM must take back his remark.”
