CM: Robust road network essential for Rajasthan’s “MISSION-2030”
Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said a robust road network in the State will pave the way for realising ‘Mission-30’- a vision of the State government. Gehlot said that the state government has envisioned bringing Rajasthan in the leading states of the country by the year 2030 under the “Mission-2030” and the strong road network will pay the way for the same.
CM Ashok Gehlot was addressing a programme in which he virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 153 road development works costing Rs 4,817 crore from the CMR. He said that in 4 and a half years, excellent works of road development have been done as a result of which the roads of Rajasthan are being praised across country. He said that several letters have been written to GoI demanding upgradation of the 50 major SHs into NHs
