CM: Raj Police will maintain its identity as best force in nation
Jaipur: About the visit of Union Minister Amit Shah to Bharatpur, CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the media after attending the Rajasthan Police Day celebration at RPA on Sunday, said that Amit Shah was accusing the State government but he should look into his own government first.
“I would like to tell him to look into his own regime. Action should have been taken against the way a minister of his government cheated and did injustice to the people of Rajasthan. Amit Shah should have spoken about the Sanjivani scam and should have asked people’s pain. His minister is involved in this scam. If he was in UP, he would have been in jail today. But our police, our SOG works step by step that is why he is out till today,” said CM. The CM said that due to the commitment of police, the common people’s confidence in them has increased. The motto of police ‘Confidence in Common People, Fear in Criminals’ seems to be coming true, he said.
“In the last one month, the way the police conducted operations to nab criminals, crimes have decreased by 10 %. the Rajasthan Police will maintain its identity as the best force in the country,” he said. Food & Civil Supplies Minister Pratap S Khachariyawas, MoS Home Rajendra Yadav, ACS (Home) Anand Kumar alongside various senior police officials were present.
