Jaipur: Rajasthan State Ahilya Bai Holkar Board has been constituted by the state government. This board will take stock of the condition of Gadaria (Gadri), Gayari, Ghosi (Gawala), Purbia (Dhangar, Gadri) castes and give suggestions to the state government to provide basic facilities to these classes and remove backwardness on basis of authentic survey report.

Other suggestions including educational and economic upliftment of the society, promotion of employment, concrete measures against social evils/misdeeds and advancement of traditional business from present methods will be presented to state government by the board. The board will have a chairman, vicechairman and 5 non-official members. Administrative Dept of the Board will be Social Justice and Empowerment Dept.
