CM okays service rule proposals for RSSB officers, employees
Jaipur: On the day when Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s government completed 6 months in office, he approved the proposals related to the service rules of the officer and employee cadre of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) to make recruitment processes smooth, transparent and time-bound. Sharma has approved the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (Gazetted) Service Rules, 2024 and Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (Ministerial and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2024. Along with this, proposal for amendment in Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services (General Eligibility Test) Rules, 2022 has also been approved. With this decision, the way will be opened for determination of service rules of board as well as selection of personnel cadre of board will be facilitated. With the Staff Selection Board becoming strong and independent, a transparent and time-bound recruitment process will be ensured. It is noteworthy that with the formation of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, service rules were not made for the officers and employees of the Board in the last 10 years, due to which the work of approval of posts, recruitment, promotion, seniority and fixation of salary allowances etc. was not being done smoothly.
During the day, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma alongwith other BJP leaders also visited the BJP headquarters for the organisational review meeting related to the various Lok Sabha constituencies of Rajasthan.
