CM interacts with patients, inspects facilities during visit to SMS Hospital

Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma recently paid a surprise visit to SMS Hospital in Jaipur on Monday to inspect the arrangements. After some time, Dr Achal Sharma reached there & was reprimanded by the CM. “Have you ever gone out and seen the situation?,” the CM asked Dr Achal Sharma. The CM also expressed displeasure over the chaos and filth in the hospital.

“This is one of the most reputed hospitals of the country. Such filth doesn’t look appropriate at the place,” he said while directing to get the premises cleaned and also to make arrangements for seating and accommodation for the family members of the patients.

The CM then visited the Neurology wing in Bangar campus & asked the patients about the arrangements and inquired about the well-being of some patients admitted at Wards. During this time, when he reached the staff counter, he expressed his displeasure over the shortage of staff there. “Why is there no doctor here yet?,” CM asked. The nursing staff said that they were on leave.
