CM: I am your brother, ready to support brave sisters in every possible manner
Jaipur: On Sunday, war widows of the state tied ‘Raksha Sutra’ on Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s wrist at his residence. Sharma honoured the war widows by presenting them with shawls, sweets, and money as a mark of respect. The Chief Minister said, “I am your brother and will always be ready to help the brave sisters in every possible way.”
He added that the state government has reached out to war widows on Raksha Bandhan to honor them. Approximately 1,500 ‘veerangnas’ across the state are receiving Rs 2,100, sweets, and shawls as a mark of respect on this occasion.
The Chief Minister also directed the concerned officials to ensure that the problems of women are addressed regularly every month at all sub-division levels.
