CM flags off awareness vehicles for RG Rural & Urban Olympics

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot said on Monday that the organization of Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympic Games-2023 will generate enthusiasm for sports among the youth of the state, which will lead to good results in future. He said that there is no dearth of talent in the state. Better opportunities are being provided to sports talents by the state govt, he said.

Gehlot on Monday flagged off 10 vehicles at the CMR to spread public awareness about the Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympic Games-2023. These vehicles will go to all the blocks and assembly constituencies and spread awareness about sports. On this occasion, the CM handed over the torch related to organizing the games to former international volleyball player Malti Chauhan. At the same time, Gehlot also released T-shirts, medals and certificates to be given to the participants.

The CM said that rural and urban Olympic Games will be organized from July 10. “About 57 lakh players have registered. Elders, children, women and youth all play together in these games, due to which a positive atmosphere is being created,” he said.

On this occasion, MoS for Sports Ashok Chandna said that the spirit of Fit Rajasthan-Hit Rajasthan is being realized.
