CM: CENTRE SHOULD BRING ‘RIGHT TO SOCIAL SECURITY BILL’ FOR MASSES

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of SMS Medical College, has raised the issue of “right to social security” in nation. “Centre should bring “Right to Social Security” bill in the House on the lines of Food Security Act so that the needy people can get the right to social security,” he said. “We are bringing the Right to Health Bill, but some private sector doctors are opposing it. They should not oppose. You guys also explain to them.” Everyone is proud of SMS, because it has reached here after completing the journey of 75 years,” Gehlot said while praising the doctors for Covid management. Health Min Parsadi Lal Meena said that work that has been done in medical field in last 4 years, hasn’t been done in any other state of the country.

SMS Medical College Principal Dr Rajeev Bagarhatta said that this Medical College, which was started with two rooms and a hostel, has attained a different status today. “We will achieve the goal that our seniors had seen. Many new departments have also been added in 75 years. With the help of our alumni, we are getting work done on infrastructure worth 7.50 cr,” he added. RUHS V-C Dr Sudhir Bhandari said, “I thank the CM that he has given such a gift to the institute which is improving the skills further.”
