CM assures help to Raj couple hurt in J&K
Jaipur: Officials of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) contacted the family members of the Jaipur resident couple who were injured in the terrorist attack on Saturday evening in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, they inquired about the couple’s well-being and assured them of health and treatment related support.
It is noteworthy that 50 people of the same family, residents of Nahargarh Road, Jaipur, had gone from Jaipur to visit Kashmir on May 15. While returning to the hotel there, Tabrez Khan and his wife Farha Khan were seriously injured in firing by the terrorists.
They are undergoing treatment in the Military Hospital, Srinagar.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma directed the officials to immediately contact the family members of the injured couple following which the officials immediately contacted his brother-in-law Shahrukh who was present with Tabrez Khan.
Shahrukh said that now the condition of both of them is out of danger. The CMO officials are in constant touch with Shahrukh. Besides, they also talked to the local police administration in Jammu and Kashmir regarding ensuring the safety of other passengers staying in the hotel.
