CM approves Rs 37.75 crore for expansion of airstrips in Raj!

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot has given financial approval of Rs 37.75 crore for expansion of 10 airstrips and various construction works in the state. With the approval of CM Gehlot, various works including runway recarpeting, boundary wall construction, compound wall construction and refurbishment of runway will be done on these state owned airstrips.

Of these, 14 crores for Kolana (Jhalawar) airstrip mega highway and Buddha Mandavar road shifting and boundary wall construction, 4 crores for runway recarpeting and boundary wall elevation of Abu Road (Sirohi) airstrip, Rs 1.97 crore for the recarpeting of runway at Phalodi (Jodhpur), Rs. 3.40 crore for repair of runway recarpeting and approach road of Talwara (Banswara) airstrip and construction of waiting room building.

Furthermore, Rs 4.60 crore for the compound wall of Padihara (Churu) airstrip and renovation of existing airstrip, Rs 4.50 crore for renovation of Sirohi airstrip and construction of boundary wall, 2 cr for renovation of Tarapura airstrip at Sikar and construction of boundary wall. A financial provision of Rs. 2 crore has been made for the compound wall of Kumher (Bharatpur) airstrip, Rs. 1.23 crore for the renovation of Sawai Madhopur airstrip and Rs. 5 lakh for the repair of boundary wall of Hamirgarh (Bhilwara) airstrip.
