Chomu: Deputy CM Dr Bairwa inaugurates ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ drive
Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa inaugurated the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ plantation initiative at the district transport office in Chomu on Sunday. He encouraged people to contribute to environmental conservation by planting trees as part of this campaign.
Several saplings were planted within the office compound, with a target set to plant over a hundred more plants in the near future.
Former Chomu MLA Ramlal Sharma, BJP District President Shyam Sharma, along with Transport Inspector Phoolchand Bairwa and AAO Bhagirath Saini, warmly welcomed the Deputy CM during the event.
Meanwhile, members of the Car Dealers’ Association took the opportunity to submit a memorandum to Bairwa, urging a reduction in recently increased vehicle taxes. Dr Bairwa also visited the residence of Naraina Municipality Chairperson Savitri Devi Swami to extend congratulations to her on becoming the Chairperson.
Savitri Devi Swami is the mother-in-law of Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Her son, Dr Pukhraj Swami and others welcomed the Dy CM. Demand to make Sambhar-Phulera a district was also raised.
