Chiranjeevi scheme: Register 5 familes, get 500 incentive

A special campaign is being run to connect every family in the state with the scheme so that no family is left out from registration due to lack of information and are not deprived of cashless treatment in empaneled, government and private hospitals under the scheme.

Financial provision of Rs 36 crore has been approved for this campaign. In this special campaign, field workers from Asha Sahyogini, Anganwadi, ANM, Panchayat are being surveyed so as to get them registered.

Post survey these families are being encouraged to register at nearest eMitra to connect with scheme & an incentive amount of Rs 500 is being given to those who are getting 5 families registered under the scheme. An additional incentive amount of Rs.100 per family will be paid on more than five registrations.

The NGOs registered under the Societies Act-1958 that are working at the field level can also participate in the campaign and get families to register.

They too will receive Rs 500 for every 5 families that are registered and Rs 100 per family for more than five registrations.

The list of NGOs authorized by the District Collector will have to be sent at the state level. At present more than 1 cr33 lakh families have been registered and more than 6 lakh 73 thousand people have received free treatment.

So far 788 government & 625 private hospitals have connected. To register, private hospitals can apply on official website.
