Child mauled by dogs, SHRC seeks report

Jaipur: A heartwrenching video of a child being mauled by 6 dogs on May 19 in Patrakar Colony has surfaced. The child, Daksha, came out of the house to play when the dogs attacked.

Although the condition of child is better now, the JMCG has not taken any action to curb such incidents. Sculptor J Mishra said that even after complaints, thedogs are not being catched.

State Human Rights Commission chairman Justice GK Vyas took suo moto cognizance in the matter and has summoned JMCG Commissioner to appear personally on May 31.
