Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma holds his first Cabinet meeting
Jaipur: The first meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Bhajan Lal Sharma government was held in the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday under the chairmanship of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. In the meeting, it was decided to constitute a committee of ministers to review the administrative decisions taken by previous Ghelot government in the last 6 months and the decisions taken during the period when the code of conduct was in force. Panel will review above decisions and submit its report to CM within 3 months.
The BJP’s manifesto for 2023 Assembly elections was approved as a policy document of the state government. It was decided to appoint a special officer in the CMO for the implementation of the resolution letter. The decision was made to restore Rajasthan Loktantra Senani Samman Nidhi-2008 which had been closed by the previous state government.
A presentation was also given on 100-day action plan of state govt. A detailed presentation was given regarding the major achievements of the first 30 days of the state government. Important issues related to public interest like the date of the RAS recruitment exam, MSP on wheat crop etc. were also discussed.
Meanwhile, MoS Home Jawahar Singh has sought a complete report from DG Jails Bhupendra Dak regarding the incident where a threatening call was made from Jaipur Central Jail to shoot the CM.
