Check fitness centres: Kumar

Jaipur: In order to stop the arbitrariness of fitness centres in the state, Principal Secretary Transport Anand Kumar has instructed all RTOs and DTOs to conduct a thorough investigation of these centres. Kumar took a review meeting of the department in the secretariat on Wednesday.

Kumar expressed his displeasure over the disturbances in the fitness centers and said that this is tarnishing the image of the department. He directed all the RTOs and DTOs to check these centres and send the report in the next 15 days.

He instructed lagging RTOs to improve their performance. “The department usually works for revenue in the last months of the financial year due to which there is unnecessary pressure on the personnel of the department. Now department is focusing on revenue collection from the beginning,” he said.
