Chautala elected president, Tejraj Singh treasurer of HAI

Jaipur: In the elections held on 21 posts for the next four years of Handball Association India, Digvijay Singh Chautala of Haryana was elected as the President, Telangana’s A. Jagan Mohan Rao was elected unopposed to the post of General Secretary and Dr. Tejraj Singh of Rajasthan to the post of Treasurer. The election was held at Sunday Hotel, Jaipur on Monday.

Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey of Uttar Pradesh was made the executive director.
Paul Bray from the International Handball Federation, Mohammad Nizamuddin and Hussain Alasfur from the Asian Handball Federation and George Mathew from the Indian Olympic Association were present as observers in these elections.
