Changes made for sports in State will prove to be miletones: Poonia

Jaipur: 41st Senior National Shooting Ball Championship began at SMS Stadium on Sunday. Championship was inaugurated by Prez of Raj State Sports Council Dr Krishna Poonia. Three-day championship will witness participation of more than 700 players.

Total of 28 male teams and 25 women teams are participating in the tournament. “Sports are being promoted extensively in the state under the guidance of CM Ashok Gehlot. Under this, Rural Olympics were organized in the state. Athletes who bring medals at the national level are also given government jobs in state,” said MLA Dr Krishna Poonia.

Secretary of Raj Shooting Ball Association, OP Machra said this tournament is happening after 23 years.
