CELEBRATING THE BOND OF LOVE!

Jaipur: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in Municipal Corporation Greater as Mayor Dr Somya took a pledge to give the Corporation the best place in terms of cleanliness by tying ‘Rakshasutra’ to municipal councillors and sanitation workers. To prevent pollution and to give the message of cleanliness, ‘Rakshasutra’ was made from cow dung and seeds, including those of tomatoes, chillies, cucumbers so that they can be planted later. The Mayor said that the sanitation employees who keep Jaipur clean are her brothers. “Today I promise to make the capital clean so that Jaipur is known across the world,” she said.
