Celebrating foundation day of states is to experience ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’

Jaipur: The Foundation Day of Himachal State was celebrated at Raj Bhavan on Monday where Governor Kalraj Mishra interacted with the people of the state and congratulated them. He said that it is a holy and sacred land. Talking about mountains, rivers, waterfalls and lush greenery, he said that tourism began here.

Describing Himachal as the pride of India, the Governor said that the purpose of celebrating the foundation day of the states is to experience ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. He also called for working to strengthen national unity and solidarity. He said that India will become strong through unity and coordination of various sectors. For this, an initiative has been taken at Raj Bhavan to celebrate the foundation day of states.

Folk artistes from Himachal enthralled the people with the harmonium presentation of ‘Jeena Kangre Da’ group folk song and solo folk song. The people expressed their gratitude to the Governor.
