Cash & Gold haul: Firms to be probed for graft; Yadav on 2-day remand
Jaipur: The suspended Joint-Director of DoIT Ved Prakash Yadav, arrested in the case in which police seized over Rs 2.31 crores in cash and 1 kg of gold biscuits in Yojana Bhawan, was produced before an ACB court on Wednesday and sent on 2-days of police remand. It is being said that the accused is not giving the passwords of the seized laptop, mobile.
Accused VP Yadav had taken Rs 30 lakh in cash from contractors of Gurugram and Udaipur. “The ACB will soon interrogate the officials of the company which is based in Udaipur and Gurugram,” said an official.
