CAs essential for nation building: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Friday that India is today the fifth largest economy in the world and the chartered accountants of the country have an important contribution in this. “The importance of CA in giving momentum and direction to the country’s economy is well known. Just as doctors are essential for the health of the citizens, similarly CAs are also essential for the economic health of the country,” CM said while addressing ‘Veda’, a 2-day national conference of Chartered Accountants organized in Jaipur. While wishing the CAs from across the country and the world a Happy New Year, Youth Day, Lohri and Makar Sakranti, he said that CAs are playing an important role in the economic development and stability of the country by using their financial knowledge and skills. CM called upon the participants to give suggestions related to roadmap of financial management in the interest of state.
