Carnival organised for children with cancer

Jaipur: Children suffering from cancer had a good time at Rajasthan Housing Board’s Chaupati in Pratap Nagar where a special carnival was organised jointly by the Housing Board, Bhagwan Mahavir Cancer Hospital, Cancer Care Dreams Foundation and the shopkeepers of Chaupati. A day before Children’s Day, a music and magic show was organised in this programme for about 100 children undergoing treatment at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital. The kids enjoyed the carnival. They danced in the live band show, and got enthralled by the performances of the magicians. They were also happy to get a warm welcome from cartoon characters Donald Duck and Goofy. Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board Pawan Arora was present in the programme along with his wife. Sunita Gehlot, wife of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and patron of Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital’s Care Cell and President of Cancer Care Anila Kothari were also present during the event.
