CALLIGRAPHER GAURI FELICITATED BY PM

• 13-year-old Gauri has taught this art to more than 1500 people

Ajmer: On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, Gauri Maheshwari, 13, from Ajmer was honoured with the Rashtriya Bal Purskar by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event was held in New Delhi and through virtual medium, PM Modi honoured the children by interacting with them.

Gauri is a student of Class 8 at Mayo Girls School, Ajmer. Gauri is just 13 but she is a calligraphy teacher.

All the officers including District Collector and Gau ri’s family joined event at NIC centre at Ajmer District Collectorate.

Gauri has taught this art to more than 1500 people around the world. She knows more than 150 styles.

Gauri’s parents thanked everyone & said that she would be allowed to do whatever she wants in future. Since childhood, she was very serious about the art.
