Cabinet Empowered Panel okays land for new PCC office in Mansarovar

Jaipur: The Cabinet Empowered Committee on Tuesday decided to allot land for the office of state unit of Congress in Mansarovar. The 5896.65 square meter institutional plot is situated between Dravyavati River and Shipra Path near Modern School and will be allotted in the scheme of the Housing Board. The meeting was presided over by UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal, where Ministers Parsadilal Meena , Shakuntala Rawat, Bhajanlal Jatav, and senior officials of UDH, LSG, and the Housing Board were present. In the matter of the scheme of Housing Board located on 329 hectares of land in village Sirauli, the State Land Use Change Committee will decide on land use change. The matter of giving exemption in the lease amount to the MLAs was deferred in the meeting. The MLAs had demanded exemption in the lease of flats allotted in Mansarovar and Pratap Nagar. The exemption would have led to economic burden of Rs 4.10 crore on Housing Board. Six cases of JDA and 7 of the Housing Board were taken up in the meeting.

The Committee also gave in-principle approval for commercial use of half the allotted land of Lala Chaman Lal Education Trust for Boys and Bhagwan Devi Trust for Girls. The institute has been allotted 25,000 square metres of land in Sheopur of Sanganer of which permission was sought for commercial activities on 12,000 sqm to meet cost of providing free education to students.
