Businessman assaulted by 16, robbed at gunpoint
Jaipur: A travel businessman was allegedly beaten and subjected to murder attempt in Jaipur’s Shyam Nagar area on Friday. Police informed sixteen miscreants came in a car and assaulted victim.
“The victim has been identified as Yogesh Yadav, a resident of Shyam Nagar. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when Yogesh was returning home from Sindhi Camp. Suddenly, sixteen miscreants came in a car and attacked him.
The accused even robbed twenty thousand rupees from the victim at a gunpoint,” said Shyam Nagar Police Station SHO Mohan Meena. “The accused threatened to kill Yogesh by pointing a gun towards him. Later, he informed police and filed an FIR. Barricading was done in the area, but the miscreants managed to flee. CCTV footage is being gathered,” added SHO Shri Mohan Meena.
