Barmer: Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar on Saturday reached Barmer on a day visit. Dr Kumar attended a NCC cadets training programme that was organized at government higher secondary school at Khadin. Dr Kumar said that PM Modi had decided to expand the NCC training in bordering areas and presently training is continue at around 1200 schools of bordering areas.
He said that witnessing such events in remote bordering areas proved that the PM’s dream is being fulfilled on ground. Interacting with the media, he said that he had come to Barmer to observe the expansion of NCC in the bordering region. He said that it was a great experience to see the development and enthusiasm of the school students towards NCC in Barmer.
