Jaipur: At short notice, a long-term friend arrives. The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, will visit India as the Chief Guest for India’s 75th Republic Day from January 25-26. PM Narendra Modi will be rolling out the red carpet for him from Jaipur to New Delhi.

French President Emmanuel Macron to visit Jaipur today. He will begin his state visit by touring Amber Fort, the iconic Hawa Mahal and astronomical observation site of Jantar Mantar. The French president will be received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and both leaders will tour the pink city together.

Modi-Macron’s road show in Jaipur will prove to be all-round beneficial for Rajasthan and BJP. BJP will get political benefits from the road show before the Lok Sabha elections. Furthermore, tourism industry will get a boost in both the countries and the French funding agency can issue a project of Rs 2,000 crore for environmental improvement and heritage development in the state.

Following their tour, Modi-Macron will then hold in-depth bilateral talks.

Macron will be the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day celebrations on January 26 in the national capital Delhi at the invitation of PM Modi.
