‘Bomb on plane’: Jpr airport also remained on high alert

Jaipur: All international airports including Jaipur in the country were on high alert after receiving information about a bomb on an international flight going from Tehran to Guangzhou in China.

The Jaipur International Airport was also on high alert after receiving the alert from the ATC. Security agencies and airport administration officials also remained on alert.

Mahan Air flight number W-581 was going from Tehran to Guangzhou, China. At that time pilots of the aircraft contacted Delhi ATC. The flight was not allowed to land at Delhi airport. However, permission was not granted due to technical reasons & plane was diverted to Jaipur. Sources said plane was not allowed to land in Jaipur & it finally headed towards its destination.
