Bolero-Thar collision claims 5 lives, 6 injured

Jaipur: Five persons were killed and as many others were injured in a collision between a Bolero and a Thar vehicle on Dausa-Manoharpur highway in Jamwaramgarh area of Jaipur district on Thursday. The incident occurred on ManoharpurDausa highway in Aandhi police station area which left four men dead and six injured. One succumbed to injuries at SMS hospital.

ASI of Aandhi police station Surendra said that the victims were rushed to hospital by highway patrolling vehicles and ambulances.

He said that as per the primary information, the head-on collision occurred near Dangarwada while overtaking. The deceased were identified as Chandra Prakash (40), Ramdayal (25), Sardar (50) Narendra (25) and Kaluram Gurjar.
