Black money of Rs 137 cr uncovered after 4 day Dinesh Kasana long raid concludes

Jaipur: The four-day-long raid on a transport company concluded on Sunday, marking one of the largest seizures of gold jewelry in Rajasthan. Income tax officials claim to have uncovered Rs 137 crore in unaccounted wealth during the raids. Over 45 kilograms of gold jewelry and approximately Rs 4 crore in cash were confiscated. Additionally, no records were found for Rs 95 crore of income reportedly earned from transport operations, which officials suspect is also part of unaccounted wealth.

The case pertains to raids on Udaipur Golden Transport and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. The Income Tax Investigation Branch began operations on Thursday morning across 6 cities in three states, including Ahmedabad and Vapi in Gujarat, Mumbai, three locations in Banswara, one in Jaipur, and 16 locations in Udaipur. Raids were also conducted at the residences of company directors Tikam Singh Rao and his brother Govind Singh Rao.
